How to manage client payments with Nutrium and Stripe integration

Over the last few months, we've been working on a solution to help nutritionists, and dietitians easily request and receive clients' online payments.

With the Nutrium Payment System, nutrition professionals can now offer their clients a much easier, safe, and convenient way to pay for nutrition services by integrating with the Stripe - Payment Management Platform.

This feature is integrated within our software and allows clients' to receive by email all the information they need to successfully pay their nutrition professional for nutrition services such as consultations, bespoke programs, or packages.

By offering different possibilities of payment methods and a direct way to process the payment, you can stand out from the crowd and mark your presence online.

This article lets you know how you can enable this new feature and integrate your Nutrium account with Stripe to start requesting and collecting payments right away.

What are the advantages of using the Nutrium payment system?

The main advantage is that you can now make all the administrative tasks of your business in one single platform from receive booking from clients, setting up their profile, request payments, and receive them on your account and check any client's payment history.

For your online nutrition appointments, this is the ideal way of collecting payments. You will be able to consult clients and request payments from the same platform, guaranteeing your services' trust and security.

Another plus is that you will be able to request payment seven before the nutrition appointment. As soon as they are booked and confirmed, you can send clients the payment request, avoiding the sometimes-awkward moment during appointments of discussing payment options.

You can also agree with them to pay in different installments, as you are the one who chooses to manually request these.

We've integrated the Nutrium payments system with Stripe to guarantee the utmost security. Stripe is a payment management platform operating in more than 40 countries and with clients such as Google, Amazon, and Uber.

Stripe uses a sophisticated machine learning system to provide you and your clients all the security of payments and protection against frauds.

How to set up the Nutrium-Stripe Payments integration

There are a few aspects of this new feature that you should consider before setting it up. Check below what you need to know.

First, you need to create and/or enable your Stripe account into Nutrium.

A new section has been created in Nutrium called Payments, and there is where you will be able to manage everything about your clients' payments.

To enable this integration, you need to click on the section Payments in the left side menu or on your user name, on the right upper side, and access the tab Apps and services integrations.

If you do not have a Stripe account, you'll be invited to register your basic information. If you already have a Stripe account, when adding your e-mail address, an automated verification process is made.

In most cases, the Stripe account's verification process is immediate, and you'll be able to start request payments to clients in a few minutes within creating your Stripe account.

Second, it is available in all subscription packages, but additional fees may apply.

The payments platform is available in both the Meal Plans and Follow-up Packages without changing our pricing. You can enable or disable this feature at any time, with no additional costs.

To manage these financial transactions with Stripe and Nutrium, service fees are applied when payments are received. As well as transaction fees when money is collected to the professional's bank account.
